Chris Dale – Director
Chris Dale is the founding director of Btt. Before Btt, he spent 10 years in engineering, manufacturing and systems development before working as a management consultant with one of the world’s largest professional services firms.
He has been a freelance independent consultant for 10 years working in business change, business re-engineering and process improvement, project and programme management in business change, systems development and implementation. His specialisation is in applying a synthesis of Gilb methods, Theory of Constraints and Systems Dynamics, to the design of effective business change initiatives.
He has worked in a wide range of industries including pharmaceuticals, electronics, engineering, telecommunications, aerospace, financial services, consumer goods, computer manufacture and commercial software development in the UK, USA and mainland Europe.
Chris Dale has a BSc degree in electronics engineering from London University and is a member of the Institute of Operations Management, the Institution of Engineering & Technology (IET) and the Institute of Directors (IOD).
David Rankin – Business Development Director
David Rankin had a successful career in London and internationally with National Westminster Bank (NatWest), reaching Senior Executive level. Since then he has had a number of senior operational and business development roles in small to medium-sized companies including The Hunter Group Inc, Anite Finance Net, where he was Managing Director, and COR Intelligent Banking Solutions in The City of London.
He is a graduate in Economics from Newcastle University, and an Associate of The Chartered Institute of Bankers.
Tom Gilb – Associate Director, Methods
Tom Gilb has been a leading international consultant, speaker and author on effectiveness in better results delivery for the last 30 years.
His work in developing methods for achieving early and frequent improvements in organisations, processes and projects pre-dates and still surpasses in originality, depth and effectiveness, the recent ‘rapid’ and ‘agile’ schools of interest
Tom is the worldwide authority on the evolutionary delivery approach to rapid practical progress in organisations, projects and systems development. His methods are based on a number of profound insights, a rigorous approach to clear thinking and to problem solving which is explored in the various books he has published.
Originally from California, he is now based in Norway from where he travels to address conferences and work with well known multinational and Fortune 100 corporate clients around the world. Amongst other educational institutions, he has guest-lectured at Stanford, UC Berkeley, Carnegie Mellon and the London School of Economics.
